e-sword can't load bibles...

I installed the software and I've tried loading the bibles on cf and sd and on axim51v and it doesn't see the bibles to load.
Any clues?

The Bibles, Commentaries, etc. can be loaded on a cf or sd card but the main program must be in your main memory. I also found I occasionally have to map through file explorer to get the main program to read what is laoded on the cf or sd card.

Yes ... excellent program. eSword requires the .Net Compact Framework which is pretty heavy on system resources and makes that program very slow.

Is it just a problem when you open the bibles on your pc (and it gets ready to sync them to the axim)?

This is after using activesync.
I've completed loading the bibles and software and start the software, it says it can't find any bibles to load.

It sounds like the database drivers might not be properly installed. "SQL CE 2.0" needs to be installed. Reinstall Pocket e-Sword as it will reinstall these drivers.

e-sword bibles & webster

just for reference, i loaded three bibles onto my PC then clicked on each one of them and followed instructions to load them into a a directory named "Pocket e-Sword" directly under my CF card root directory (I also downloaded webster's dictionary at the same place. Upon launching e-sword (which I installed in main memory) for the first time, I got the message indicating that no bible was found. at that point at indicated the CD directory as the resource place (under the menu "View" then "Resource Location"). It does work great.

Hope this helps.

rx, after clicking on the CONNECT button, did you select (highlight) the directory where the bible was to be decompressed to and then clicked on the COPY button on your PC?
Did it connect and load the *.bbl file? If it did not copy it to your PDA, then you may wish to check your firewall permissions for moduleinstall.exe
