I use two peaks Personal Vehicle Manager, tracks mileage, MPG, maintenance, etc. Simple to use, and works well for me. You can find more info here: http://www.twopeaks.com/PVM/pocketpc.aspx

I too am using Personal Vehicle Manager from Two Peaks. I like the fact there's a desktop version as well.

I use ListPro for many things, including auto/motorcycle maintenance. Mileage is something I check every so often to look for changes, I don't bother tracking it. I already know my truck gets 9 mpg, it's too depressing to see it over and over again :)

I do track maintenance, the mileage at the time, where, if I have the receipt, things like that.

Two benefits for using an advanced list program (or database)...one, you can design it to fit your needs. Two, you can use it for other things.

I've been using CarCare software for desktop and ppc for quite a while. Very happy with it.

You've absolutely gotta at least look look at auto 3 in 1 !! Be-yu-ti-ful. I Just bought personal vehicle manager then stumbled on this.....it rocks big time - so bought it too . Warning: it does way more than just fuel if you want it to ! :approve: :approve: :approve: Best PPC software in last 12 months and I've bought a lot !!!!!:rolling:
Did heaps of searches but no-one else seemed to mention 3-in-1 so I missed it, mis-bought PVM (it's "just OK" IMHO, at least compared to Auto 3-in-1 )

is there any difference between the PPC component that comes with the desktop bundle and the individual PPC only version?

I've been using PVM and like coolabah says, it's just OK. It's fine if nothing gets corrupted, but every so often there's a glitch in the database syncing and then you have to jump through hoops to get the desktop and ppc back in sync. It also syncs every entry individually everytime you connect thru activesync. Previous version had a different database structure and synced at the file level.

I made my own with Pocket Xcel, and recreated it with more detail in Spreadce, the nice thing about doing it yourself is you're not adding any more programs, and you can customize it for your needs. Just my 2 cents.

No. no difference. In fact I only recently installed the PPC updated version from their website (and I am running PC & PPC package).
