powerpoint?

Is there any free program that will play a powerpoint file? I don't want to upgrade to WM5, but I want to be able to open and view powerpoint files. Thanks for the info.

Pocket Slide Show from Cnetx isn't free (it's $21.95) . . .

Axim X5's shipped with a support CD that included the totally free version of IA Presenter from IA Style, Inc.

It is/was a great freebie that works great.

I thought that X50/51s shipped with a similar app.

I don't know...does it? I have the X50v. If so, where is it and what's it called?

Resco picture viewer that shipped with the x50v will convert ppt shows into something that can be viewed with the ppc picture viewer.

It does not work with native ppt slides. I have used it to view a show, but I don't know if you can change or edit.

BTW, gokfoon21, it looks like a half horse to me.

Is that Resco picture viewer the "picture" program? (the one in the programs file named "picture?) If so, I can't view my powerpoint document. Or is Resco something that came with the disc? Thanks

Hmmm... can't remember, exactly. It came on the cd and you had to install both the ppc version and the pc version. It puts two programs on the ppc. /the captureIt program and the viewer. You have to copy the ppt file from the ppc to the pc and it will be converted. As I said yoy cannot view native ppt files. Hope this helps.
