It occurred to me that no-one said they tried adding Sprite to InClose's conflict list as suggested by kjd2338 (not the exclude list).

I tried that, and a manual backup worked with this setting. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's scheduled backup:approve:

I can now confirm that scheduled Sprite backups work if you add the Sprite executable to InClose's conflict list.

This is on WM2003SE.

I don't want to spoil the party, BUT!

"9) InClose Mobile: BIG Thumbs down for this. On the website, it looks promising. But there are many flaws with the application. Firstly, it is HUGE for a task manager at 1.18 MB. Secondly, it does not support the today theme so well on WM5. On my device, it shows black text in a black background. After I disable background in the options, the text seems to have turned white in white background? This is terrible and horrible! Thirdly, there was an unexpected error message when I first ran the program. Fourthly, there doesn't seem to be any way to shut it down. After I attempted to shut it down in a Process Viewer, it screws up my taskbar. The "OK" and "X" buttons dissappeared forever and the only way to recover is to perform a soft reset. I think it also had some other issues on my device. Finally, I decided to uninstall it, give it a big thumbs down and put it to my personal blacklist. I will never ever try it on any device again:realmad:"

I found out that you have to Put Sprite Backup v3,14 on the exclusion list, otherwise Inclose will reset before Sprite start backing up. For that tip I got that version of Sprite backup for free!

I don't use Inclose anymore!

InClose bugged the living heck out of me when I tried it. IIRC its "Minimize" button was dumb enough to minimize even settings dialogs, that must be closed to work. There's absolutely no advantage in using it vs MagicButton, it does the same thing but it does it worse than MB and at a huge memory cost.
