Axim maintenance Program

Just wondering what a good maintenance/util software I should go for before splashing the cash!

I've used Pocket Mechanic before and liked what it could do, I've also read on here about SKTools and others.

What do people recommend? I am always testing new apps & utils on my PDA so do a lot of installing/un-installing, so a reg checker/cleaner is nice.

Also a prog that will delete un-wanted files etc.....a good general maintenance program is all i need really.

Freeware would be handy, but don't mind paying for a better one

Any help would be great

I use Sktools and it works great for me. MemMaid also does some (but not all) of the same things but has a much nicer user interface.

When I'm testing all sorts of software I use Sprite to make a full backup first, then if it goes horibly wrong i just hard reset and restore from backup.

lol! yeah good old sprite, I only came across that recently and what a great prog! Is there just a .cab for this, as I have spent ages setting up folders and can only seem to install to the "default" folder, this being RAM memory or BIS. I have been using the standard windows installer.

Thanks for the pointer, i've been looking at SKTools and looks like the puppy!

Not sure if there is just a cab file, I usually install it to BIS and make sure my backups are set to be Self restoring backups.

SKtools tends to be the one for more 'adventurous' users.

You might also want to have a look at tweaks2k.. there is some overlap in the terms of system tweaks, but they're both fairly cheap and give you lots of options to play with :)
