Mortplayer does not display "some" itunes album art

Mortplayer for some reason only displays some album art. I've looked through a bunch of different songs to see whats the difference between the two album art... everytime i drag the image out of itunes its a bmp but 1 will work and 1 wont.

It's strange.
PM Me if you'd like to take a look at the mp3 that doesnt work and one that does work.

BTW, if it makes a difference, i used itunes album art importer to get the album art from amazon.

If it's a BMP, it's propably automatically converted, because for ID3 only JPG and PNG are allowed.
Maybe the album art is either stored as an upsupported image type (MortPlayer only uses "front cover" and "other") or format (technically, it's possible to store e.g. GIF or BMP, altought the standard doesn't support it...).
If you want to, just mail an example to mort@sto-helit.de, I'll check what's wrong with it...

nope... no need... i checked it out myself and you are indeed correct.

Instead I just used jpgs and put it in the folder instead of using the embedded covers... saves some space as well.. thanks...

BTW, how well does the buffering on mortplayer work with microdrives?
How does it compare with other players like tcpmp and pocketmusic?

Thanks
