Just a reminder: If you already own any Spb software, you can get a 20% discount on this (or any other) Spb title. Just check their website for details.

Good info, especially about the discount.

I like Sprite (and a restore has worked flawlessly), but I do not like the soft reset prior to backup. It makes scheduling a backup useless.

Time to try this app :)

Sbp Backout

Is this the best way to do backups? I just posted a tread asking for help? I'm tired of losing my info all the time. Can anyone let me know how useful they have found this software? I have already purchased Spb Pocket Plus and Diary and enjoy them both. Thanks.

Some type of backupp software is good. Some of the Axims come with a backup program that is free, albeit slow.

It is strangely comforting to see that the SPB backup has the same problem that Sprite did with a scheduled backup on my K-JAM. It doesn't wake it up, so when I pick up the pda for the morning, it starts its scheduled backup, the one scheduled for 11:15 pm. :(

Not good, but since it seems to be the phone and not the software, oh well. I have tried having the unit not power off ever and although I see the difference in battery life, the scheduled backups still get delayed.

At least SPB doesn't soft reset first, so I don't have to enter my password before and after the scheduled, unattended backup :)

Sbp Backup

I have downloaded and installed the software as well as read your review. It may have taken me a a little longer to start backing up my PDA but hey at least I'm there. Thanks for your post. (I purchased Spb Pocket Plus and Diary so I'm going to look for the 20% discount.)
