SPB certainly does have great customer support. However, I have never been able to get SPB Finance to play nicely with my x51v. The activesync routine seemed very buggy and unstable.
Either way, why ask us?
Download the trials and decide for yourself! :approve:
I also use Cash Organizer on my x51v and really like it, thou I have not used SPB Finance. I read alot of positive posts about Cash Organizer before I purchased it.
I agree with Forge42. You better try both products and then make a decision.
I'm a product manager of SpbFinance so fill free to contact me if needed: air [at] softspb [dot] com.
If you like we could provide you with a recent build of Spb Finance 2.3.4 for testing. It's a beta version but it's stable enough and considered as a release candidate.

As Forge42 says, be sure to trial both before you decide. I use MS Money 2006 on the desktop, have tried MS Money for PPC, SBP Finance, and Cash Organizer. Money for PPC is free, but very limited functionality - no split transactions, limited account types can be synced, must be installed in main memory, and I always had syncing problems. Cash Organizer has the best interface, and I like the ability to have scheduled transactions automatically made into Outlook appointments, so I don't forget to pay bills. I don't think SBP can do this, but I might be wrong. Syncing also is better with Cash Organizer. With Money for PPC and SBP Finance, there were always unresolved items each time I synced, this doesn't happen with Cash Organizer. Good luck with your choice.
I DID try both - SPB Finance seemed very "friendly" to use and liked the fast entry interface. CO was good but seemed a bit too much but it gets GREAT reviews on this board. What to do???

Spb Finance indeed cannot create appointments but instead of this, but it can be integrated with Spb Diary. As for Spb Diary it is a Today plug-in for Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Notes and Messages. In case both products are installed the scheduled transactions will appear in Calendar. Try it out!
When buying Spb Finance from Spb website you will have special price for Spb Diary :)

Sounds to me like your personal preference is SPB. So buy it! :approve:
Nobody's gonna tell you you're a moron cause you prefer different software, we're Aximsite! We're nice!
I've tried both but I stuck with Cash Organizer because of it's superior synching. SPB Finance never synched with my Money file. CO is expensive, but it has been well worth it. It eliminates the need for me to keep a ton of receipts in my pocket until I have time to balance my checkbook in my desktop. I just whip out my Axim while I'm in the White Castle drive-thru and my account is updated before I start eating my Double Jalapeno Cheeseburgers!
