G'day,

I'm looking for some software that will find stuff on the X50 (WM5).

As good as Google desktop, or as clunky as Windows XP's "Find", I don't care. Just as long as it comes with the right answer eventually.

The "find" app in both WM5s and WM2003SE is useless, and I've tried Resco's file explorer and its really ordinary.

I need something that will find keywords in file names or file content, anywhere on the device or attached memory cards, no matter how deeply they're buried in a folder structure. It need only support the apps that ship with WM5.

Any ideas? I've tried searching the site and the web, but you wouldn't believe how useless it is to enter the words "find" and "search" into a search engine!

Try Total Commander or GS Finder. Both are free, and much better than the inbuilt app.
