Question Today Plug-in/PIM help

I have been looking at and reading up on these boards about applications such as Pocket Informant, Pocket Breeze, and Spb Diary.
I am still trying to figure out what competes with what and what works well together.
As best as I can tell, Pocket Informant, Spb Diary, and Agenda Fusion are all PIMs, while Pocket Breeze is a Today Plug-in. But, Diary says it can integrate with Pocket Informant and PB. So, is it more than a PIM? I already have Pocket Plus, so do I also need Pokcet Breeze? Do they compete or work together.
Most people on these boards seem to like the Pocket Informant/Pocket Breeze combo, but I am tempted by the fact that Spb Diary integrates well with Spb Finance, which I am thinking about purchasing.
I just need some clarification on all the available apps.

Thanks.

AF and PI are PIMs. Pocket Breeze and spd diary are plug-ins.

I am a big fan of PI and PB. SBSH has some great products.

On the flip side, spd also has some good stuff. All spd products will probebly interface well togeather.

Why not give the trial software a shot?

Welcome aboard bnewman. Half the fun is reading about the apps and learning. And there's tons of info and differing opinions. Like twmiller said, there are free trials of just about anything.

Yup. Trial the software, see what you like and do not like. Read different people's View MyPDA pages. Ask people you see with PDAs.

Thanks guys, I plan on taking advantage of the trial software, but wanted to be sure I tried out the right combinations.

I would first try PB with the default PIM.
It's a PIM front-end that get's you the PIM info at your fingertips on your Today screen.
If you need the capability of a full PIM, then either AF or PI can integrate with PB.
I use PB/AF that way.
If you have any PB related questions, post on the SBSH.net forum and someone will be by to help you out.
