It should not be. That is pretty much what I am looking for too. However, I doubt that it would ever be in word or txt formats. If you ever find what your looking for, do share it with us... =)

I don't mind a proprietary outlook format as long as I'm able to import plain txt files, which I've produced over many years, such as grocery list, birthday list, travel checklist etc.

MANY years ago (>20) I used such an outline program incorporated into Borlands Sidekick, the PIM of the DOS-days :-)
