Outline Program
Does anyone know of a good outline program? It doesn't have to be anything special. Actually the simpler the better it will be for me. Just the regular stuff like bold, italic, underline...
I just like making notes in heirarchy and word processors like pocket word and textmaker doesn't seem to be able to do this.
What is also important for me is that you can set the heirarchy by pressing the TAB button or shift+TAB.
If anyone knows of a software that can do this please inform me. If it's freeware then all the better. If it's commercial...oh well...I won't mind too much. =)
Thanks!

Searched on OUTLINE on pocketpcfreewares.com and found several like this one.

Believe it or not, the original HPC handheld devices (WinCE 1.0, 2.11, 3.0) had an outline function built into the Pocket Word Application.
It was a nice feature... don't know why it was removed from the PPC versions.
Textmaker PPC word processor supports outline mode on PPC as a high end option to those apps noted above

How do you put Textmaker in outline mode? I never knew it could do that.

Yeah, I noticed this on pocket informant but what is the use if you can't minimize and/or maximize each line?

I just tried that with textmaker. Doesn't cut it for me. I love textmaker and use it all the time but it just won't do as an outliner. Thanks for the heads up on this though.

However, I just checked out textmaker 2006. I didn't even know that an updated version is available. One of the new features are, "Hierarchical lists with bullets or numbering (can be indented/unindented easily)". I guess I'll download this new version and see if it fits the bill. =)

TextMaker 2006 is only for Windows at this time. They still have not put out the beta for PPC. It was almost ready for release in 2004 so that means that any day now ....

What are you talking about? It's on their site right now. You can upgrade for $10 if you bought your copy after july 2005. Otherwise an upgrade will cost you $30+.

Special price until TextMaker 2006 is released. You can then upgrade to TextMaker 2006 for Windows for only US$ 10 or EUR 10, respectively.
