Egress - how do I retrieve news?

I just installed the trial copy of Egress. How do I connect and retrieve news files? I clicked on "Retrieve All Channels" but all I get is a message saying something like "not set". What next?

There is a help file that comes with egrees that should explain what you need to know. There is some pre-made channels that can be used.

I don't see the help file. I selected the pre-made channels to see how it works but nothing.

Make sure that your device is connected to Internet. Also, to access see the help file, you need to goto Start --> Help --> Contents --> Help for Added Programs.

You gotta look around. When you click START, look at the bottom.

my bad. i forgot that i removed the HELP icon off my menu. i still cannot get any news. when I click on the update/retrieve button it looks as though it's trying but nothing appears. do i have to subscribe to the rss news sites to be able to retrieve info?
