I am looking for an application that does the same thing as calligrapher pen commander or fitaly keyboard.

If I am in note pad (or word) - if I have a series of words I use all the time - I would like to click or type something to trigger those series of words.

For example, with pen commander you can write ' TS' , circle it and you get the time stamp filled in your document. With fitaly, you can type an abbreviation and get a user defined phrase.

That’s what I am looking for. Any suggestions?

You can edit the autocorrect dictionary that is standard on the ppc to do this. For example I editted pcf to expand to "I recieved a phone call from ". Editing the dictionary is tricky and I do not remember the trick. I posted something on it and others have too so do a search.

If you use Transcriber then you can assign shortcuts to words or applications.

Select Transcriber as writing implement, then reselect the tool to change implements and go to Options. Then Advanced -> Shorthand. With this you can assign certain combinations to applications, word expansions or functions.

Possibly not quite what you want, but can be useful.
