The problem of connecting to XP pro using Terminal Services is that all icons/programs are relocated and resized due to the small size of the PPC. It is because XP pro is not like 2000/2003 server that it creates a different session for the Terminal Services connection. I believe VNC will keep all the icons and programs in their own locations and sizes.

Yup, it does. Give a try to z2 Remote2PC - it won't do the same.

Had a read of Menneisyys' VNC article here

Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine Expert: Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Access your desktop PC from your Pocket PC! (Part II)

I primarily need a VNC viewer to manage a mixed shop of pc's and mac's, I can work on the PC's wihtout issue from my X51V, the Mac's on the other hand are causing me some issues.

I tried out PTVNC and .Net VNC Viewer. I hate PTVNC's UI with a passion and just won't use it. The biggest issue is it takes over the entire screen so it's not easy for me to see if my VPN client has disconnected. It also seems to override hardware button task switching, so I had to shut it down each time I wanted to check on the status of my VPN connection or switch to another app. In the end I just gave up on it.

So next went to use .Net VNC Viewer, when I connect to one of the OSX machines, type in the password, VNC Viewer thows up an error "server is sending unknown message" and then VNC Viewer closes.

So other than these 2 apps, what would be the next best VNC client for use connecting to an OSX desktop?
