Reminder alternatives
Well, My AF, Pocket Breeze equipped Axim X30i is one useful piece of kit, but for one aspect IMHO - the reminders screen which pops up and tells you what you should do. Trouble is that I now have lots of reminders, and this will get worse. However, I can only snooze them individually by tapping and selecting the time I want. And this is the problem, I'd like to be able to select everything in one go and snooze them all for, say, 2 hours.
Are there and plug-ins or utilities which can make the reminders more flexible?
If anyone knows of anything or knows about an AF or PB function which does what I want, can they let me know.
Thanks for reading,
Alex

I can't help with a software solution. But what about a behavioral solution? Can you reduce the number of events that you need to set reminders for? Or maybe you could reduce your reliance on reminders, and instead make a habit of checking your today screen for appointments every 30 minutes or so. Or make a repeating reminder to check your today screen, and have it run every 30 minutes, or whatever time period works for you. Then you'd only have on reminder to take care of, and the one reminder would remind you of all your upcoming appointments. Just a few thoughts, they may not work for you but I felt like trying. Good luck.

Thanks for the thoughts LongWalker. If I could change my behaviour, I would! However, I like having all these reminders as they nag me into doing things - so I procrastinate less than usual, if you follow me. So I do want to be reminded, it's just that I want to be able to snooze everything at the same time instead of having to tap and select snooze for each and every item.
I will give your idea some thought though - maybe I can come up with another way of reminding myself, but just looking is not enough - a small electric shock might just jolt me into action, but I don't think I've seen this type of plug-in anywhere, yet....

Maybe you carry a large battery in a backpack, and use it to shock yourself when the reminder goes off. Then you probably would be afraid to snooze and get shocked again. :)

I've had that same question
..and also have tried to think of a better system than using reminders.
Like Alexim, I think for the moment reminders are what I want, it's just annoying that there isn't a one-button snooze all or something.
I don't really understand why you can't select more than one to snooze at a time--you can on the PC, and even if you use Outlook Web Access (OWA) you can still select more than one.
Oh well!
Although that negative reinforcment idea has some merit, LongWalker...

Positively...

HAHA awesome... Negative reinforcement would be taking away something(something undesirable) to reinforce a behavior

Hmmm... SBP Pocket Plus *might* do this... it does have alarm and reminder enhancements (I mostly keep it around for the escalating alarm volume feature.)

Thanks for the suggestion Noisy. I had a look at the manual, but it does not seem to say anything about what jiffener ans I want - in the meantime I've put apreminder plus on my Axim and now I don't get the same number of reminders as I did before - although I'm not yet sure why this is.......

I want to turn OFF all of the reminders on my Axim X51v.
My problem is that when it comes up to remind me of something, it 'blocks' the interface of the application I am currently working in. I just don't want this annoyance.
One Other Gripe (tm): Why do the snooze options on the Axim jump from One Hour to One Day? I mean that is a 23 hour difference. Looks like there could be a 2, 4, or 12 hour option as well.
Am I missing something obvious?
