I utilize the Odyssey Client to connect to both my Home and Work networks (proxy configured). No issues with PIE, but Opera won't make a connection at work. Fine at home. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated!

Did you explicitly setup the proxy server in Opera, as is explained in one of my tutorials?
If you are referring to adding info into the .ini file, yes I have attempted without success. If you are referring to another solution, please advise.
Thanks.

That is, you can't access the HTTP proxy server from Opera, while it's working OK from PIE?

Correct. Don't know if me using 2003SE is the 'actual' problem or not, but I edited the .ini file to include the below. Is this wrong?
[Proxy]
Use Automatic Proxy Configuration=0
Use HTTP=1
Use HTTPS=1
Use FTP=1
Use GOPHER=1
Use WAIS=0
HTTP server=my-web-proxy:8080
HTTPS server=my-web-proxy:8080
FTP server=my-web-proxy:8080
Gopher server=my-web-proxy:8080
WAIS server
Automatic Proxy Configuration URL=ENTERED MY PROXY HERE
Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy=0
No Proxy Servers=crest2000
No Proxy Servers Check=1
Hmm, I updated to the new Opera and now I'm not seeing full pages on some sites. While this might be handy when I'm connected via gprs, it's a pain when I'm at home and on wifi. Can anyone tell me an easy way to control this other than using pie for full content? TIA

You mean modifying the User-Agent string Opera sends out so that Web sites think it's a fully fledged desktop IE6?

menneisyys- you posted on the opera website forum "Nevertheless, the lack of detailed settings dialogs are not a problem ? with manually editing (or, downloading my sample configuration files) the main configuration files of Opera, you can fine-tune it (scrollbar visibility, proxy usage, scroll behaviour etc)." Can you point me to your proxy config?
I loaded the new beta but the old one still boots up. I deleted the .cab file and used the remove programs app on my X51v. Then installed the new beta and the original version is still popping up. Do I need to go into the registry and clean things up? Also is there a way to make the fonts and images a little more readable, ie, can I use full screen?

I tried to install the new beta over the old one and it did not work. I then removed the program, used memmaid to get rid of all the files; and made sure the opera directories were renamed and saved to storage card. (I wanted to keep all my tweaks). I used a registry editory to get rid of the one opera key that was left. It then installed fine.
