I'm having the same problem with my x51v and opera. The minute I enter the web address and press enter, it'll crash back onto my today screen.
I had it install in my SD card when this happen. It seem okay now that I uninstall it and install to the main storage. Hope this help.

You don't need to reinstall it - just follow the steps in mt tutorial. It can be installed on the storage card.

Text overlapping issue resolved?

Anyone knows how to resolve text overlapping issue (using most recent Opera)?. It happens on x50V on big text pages, like books or long articles. Thank you.

It's a bug in Opera. Dunno if it can be fixed. In the meantime, use Web-based compression/content ripper services that break up pages into several small(er) ones. Please see the review at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?p=792874 on them.

I don't know if it is just my setup, but have a look a this page: http://users.skynet.be/vic.wilms/

I get the top bar of my today screen, showing the Resco icons, then his page starts. After a few moments, I get is a vertical scroll bar that does nothing, but all the while I still see the top of my today screen mixed with this website.

Could it be because of the FlashButtons.com usage? I cannot remember if I have flash installed, and Opera is not telling me that I need to install it, either.

Can someone else try it and advise if they have the same problems?

Cheers,
Dobermann

I've found Opera 8.5b2 is working fairly well for me. I ran into something odd today though when using it to type into a web form text box (like the one I'm typing this reply in now).

Every time I tapped the soft keyboard's spacebar, it inserted 2 spaces. I had to resort to typing my stuff in Pocket Word and copy and pasting it over to the browser.

I'm not sure if this is purely an Opera issue or interaction between Opera and my Resco Keyboard Pro. I haven't had a chance to try the regular soft keyboard in this exact situation.

It's an opera issue - I'm having exactly the same problem with an external BT keyboard.

Anyone have any info about a beta 3 release? Beta 2 expires in 2 days and I haven't been able to find anything about an update on the Opera.com site.

I have a question about 8.65, too. I read that it was supposed to have some limited youtube/flash support, but when I try to watch a video, the same old "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player..." message appears. Am I supposed to download something else as well?

I got that same message n00b, I reinstalled Flash and then all was well, even though Flash swallowed ALL of my RAM in a matter of minutes.

Reinstall the Flash, it should come up then.
