Alternative button mapper that supports duplicate mappings?
The built-in button mapper won't allow me to map multiple buttons to the same function. For now, I have to edit the registry manually to force duplicate mappings. Is there a free alternative without this restriction?
Why have duplicate mappings?
scenario one: I have a pocketpc for my father-in-law to listen to internet radio and it minimizes user errors if I map all the face buttons to OK. Hitting OK will close any error windows and will get him back to the Today screen to choose another radio station shortcut (clauncher today plugin).
scenario two: I use adobe reader. In portait mode, I map the axim x50v's side buttons for up and down. But in landscape mode, I want to map two of the application buttons for up and down as well. Why not use the directional pad? The x50v's directional pad is a bit squishy and if I accidentally hit left or right instead, the page shifts in a way that is hard for me to get back to the original position without pulling out the stylus.
