Hi all,

I just received my Axim X51v but I am not able to get the WiFiFoFum2 software to work. It installes fine (even the dotnet compact framework), it starts but it does not detect any wireless networks. The odyssey client detects them.
I searched this forum but did not find any solution.
Any hints?

You have to turn on wifi with the wlan utility and then open wififofum. You must select the device for the scan. Select Tools, Device and then it is the second deivice, ODIM\TIACXWLN1. It will detect the networks, but I don't think the newest version allows you to connect. hope this helps.

I've turned on wifi. But where should I select the device for scanning ("Select Tools, Device")? Which "tools" menu are you referring to?

"Tools" menu is on WiFiFoFum2.

That's what I thought. I've a german windows mobile 5 and therefore the menues of the WiFoFuFum2 are also german. After digging in each menu, I found that the settings are in the "karte" menu ("karte" could be translated to "map" ). That's not the best translation for it.
But now I figured it out! Thanks.
