Will this not contribute to the piracy of PPC software(and software in general?)
Hi, I'm the developer of Pocket G2 and would like to say a few words.
I don't think P2P, as a technology, is "BAD" and promotes illegal activity. P2P networks like Gnutela2 (what Pocket G2 uses) allow anyone to publish any type of content and others to find it. That's all, nothing less and nothing more. To me, this is exactly what the WWW is meant to be, except that with P2P ANYONE can do it, you don't need a host or a web server.
Of course, if you publish something illegal, you are breaking the law, and just like anyone breaking the law anywhere, you can get caught and reprimanded. This applies to P2P just as much as it applies to the WWW.
In short P2P puts the power to publish content in the hands of more people than ever, including independent artists. This is not unlike the "social internet" and the "web 2.0" movements which are going on right now. I know it's a cliche, but as the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility.
Pocket G2 does not condone the sharing of illegal content, including copyrighted content, in any way
The website is not loading. Perhaps too much traffic or not enough monthly bandwidth? Sounds like I neat idea though, I will be looking forward to checking it out.

I am not saying that P2P makes people pirate stuff, but I am saying that giving people P2P file sharing is like making real estate cheap for Child-Molestors near elementry schools.
