Can any user show me how to set up the active sync via the IR beam? I can't figure it out? Thanks very much in advance.

All you should have to do is run Active sync on the Ax and from the Tools menu at the bottom, select Connect via IR.

Line up the IR ports. Start activesync on your pc. Then start activesync on your Axim and at the bottom of the Axim activesync screen click tools then click connect with IR.

Thanks for the reply you guys. Right after I asked I tried again and I figured it out. I did just that like you described but it didn't work before I posted the question. What did make it work was the setting in Activesync under connection to select IR. Without doing that you can try forever and will never connect. I knew because that was what happened to me.
