Pocket Excel Zoom Setting

I built a spreadsheet for my X51v for doing basic loan calculations. When I open the file, Excel automatically zooms to 100%. Then I have to zoom back out to 75% to see the whole sheet. Is there a way to make it open at a 75% zoom setting? I tried saving the file after I had zoomed to 75%, but that didn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work on yours. I have a several spreadsheets that open at 50% even though they were initially set at 100% when I copied them over to my PPC. I don't even remember hitting "save" after I changed to 50%.

I created the same file on my X51v, and it held the zoom setting of 75% when I opened it a second time. The seemingly identical spreadsheet created on my laptop would not hold the zoom setting. Go figure.

I'd also like to retain the previously selected zoom for Excel and Word documents on my PDA.
My old iPaq5550 and my new X51v both drop the zoom once the file has been closed.

Is there any sort of registry setting that sets the default zoom that could be altered?
I don't see this as a WM5 issue as my WM2003 did the same, but a general Pocket PC issue.

Any help or advcie appreciated.

Anyone else been using Pocket Excel for WM5 and found a fix? This is really getting to be an annoying issue. If the spreadsheet is created in Pocket Excel and only edited in Pocket Excel the zoom setting will stay. As soon as the ppc file is edited and saved with Excel 2003, the zoom setting automatically reverts to 100%.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :realmad:

Any help or input would be appreciated.

Thanks much!
