Guitarists, look here ! New fretboard trainer :)

Hi,

A new version of fretboardaddict is available :

http://www.fretboardaddict.com/

I've just bought it and it looks great, you can learn all the notes on the fretboard and also train your ears...
New graphical fretboard (real pricture of the fretboard) and digitized sounds.

But I think the picture should have been taken from the top of the fretboard and not leaned (sorry for my bad english but I'm from Belgium).

Looks really cool on my Axim x51v...

And it's not expensive :) 10$

See you.

Bernard

This is not for PPC ... but download a demo of Guitar Pro 5 here: http://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php

It will blow you away !!! :approve:

Make sure you download a few sample songs from the Guitar Pro song download site, and open them in Guitar Pro.

If you're planning to buy any type of guitar software, Guitar Pro is the one to get !!!

After you try Guitar Pro 5 ... you won't want to look any further.

I absolutely guarantee it !!!

It is the best Guitar software out there.

A whole community of Guitar Pro users have translated tens of thousands of well known songs into Guitar Pro format (actual music plus tab), and you can use them to learn to play the songs. The tabs include the full instrumentation for the songs, and you listen to the music and eliminate/include any of the instruments, while seeing the guitar tab on the screen.

There is just way too much in Guitar Pro to fully describe it. You just have to try the demo and see for yourself.

Drum Machines

There are several very good freeware Drum Machines available for download, so you can have a drum set accompany your guitar playing.

Here is one:

GMorgan Rhythm Station:

http://gmorgan.sourceforge.net/

HITSQUAD is a great source of music software:

I was checking the MIDI section of hitsquad, when I came across GMorgan:

Two other very good freeware MIDI programs I tried are:
