I have an Axim X51V running V0.50.1
Starting at the top from left to right, list the icons for me. I know what some do, like the on/off button and the soft reset, here are my questions.
1 - Red square with the word "ON" on it?
2 - Second row, first icon is this the wireless icon?
3 - Second row, second icon looks like a circle with a red object in it, what is it?
4 - Second row, highway looking icon
5 - Second row, last icon
I may be missing some good features :)Thanks guys.

from an old helpfile, not sure what has changed I don't use newer versions but HTH:
l Power off button.
l Reset Button: Will display a message for confirmation.
l Icon Always ON: Touching this icon changes it to green colour. In this state the PPC will not go to off mode
although we have it defined in the energy options. Useful when scanning networks or downloading files. It is
deactivated manually or automatically on having charged the battery or if the remaining charge is lower than 25
%.
l Icon Memory: It starts memory control panel.
l Icon Today: It starts today element control panel.
l Backlight slider: it allows us to change the screen bright when we are using the PPC with batteries. The total
lights-off is prevented. The maximum value is user-selectable from options panel
· Icon of WIFI Card ON/OFF: Greyed without card or not recognized by TodayWarrior, in red OFF and
in green ON . For NDIS cards the icon is blue. Optionaly can be deactivated for machines with is own
mechanism to do so. If deacteivated on Dell X50, the icon calls the internal On/Off utility.
· Shows current connection speed of WIFI card when connected. While disconnected, but card on, it
shows negotiation speed of the card. The type of letter is Bold and there are no selection arrows. Works with
PRISM and NDIS cards
· Connection speed selector: it can be selected between 1Mb/s, 2Mb/s, Car 1-2Mb/s, 5.5Mb/s, 11Mb/s,
Full AutoMb/s. To enter in, tap on the current speed of the card. To go out tap again. The type of letter
changes to normal and the selecting arrows appears. If we change the speed, on having gone out, the new
speed will be applied and the radio will go off momentarily, which can cause a few seconds of disconnection
of the LAN. Only for PRISM
· Icon of Activation/ deactivation of Network Scanner. When green it scans every two seconds. When red,
it store the latest scanned networks.
· Information about available networks: Shows SSID, Rx level with a colour bar and digits, radio channel
used and if WEP security is enabled (W) or is Open (O). If several networks were received, two arrows
appear in order to change the network displayed (rotational). Normally the most powerful network is
selected.
· It plays an audible sound when a new newwork is found an maintain the lost networks 30” after
disappear.
· AvantGo sync panel access icon.
· Access Icon to WZC to connect to the available networks.
