I haven't seen this mentioned here yet (sorry if it already was), but Version 3.0 of Pocket Secure was released earlier this week. See http://www.totalpocketpc.com. The developer (Joe) is a really good guy and is very responsive to user requests. I really liked Pocket Secure v2.0, but I think some of the features included in v3.0 really improve it. I think many users will appreciate that it is now WM5 friendly and how skinnable it is.

Here is some info:

A total of (13) new Features and Changes have been added to the new v3.0. Pocket Secure now also supports a total of (26) images that can be skinned to the users preference! The new v3.0 features a default built-in skin by Carlos (aka LightMan). An additional skin from his Silverado collection will soon be available.

Pocket Secure v3.0 supports 2003 & 2003SE SmartPhone devices, as well as all Pocket PC 2003, 2003SE & WM5 Devices! (currently working on support for WM5 SmartPhones)

New Features:

#1 "Slide-Show" Option - Choose 1 pic for the standard display as in v2.0, or choose up to 10 or more pics. They will cycle at a user set time!
#2 "Lock & Shutdown Sounds" Option - User Changable Sound Files. Lock sound when program is started, & Shutdown sound will play just before 'Device Auto-Off'
#3 "Auto-Shutdown Timer" Option - User set time countdown that starts when the program is idle on the 'Main Screen', and shuts the device down when time expires.
#4 "Run After Device Inactivity" - This feature will monitor Screen Taps, and Auto-Start the program after a user set time!
#5 "Disable ActiveSync Communication" - Choosing this option will Disable and Prevent all communications from the Device to the PC!
#6 "Sys. Info Meters" - Battery & Memory image meters added to the main screen, and can be Skinned by the user!
#7 "Full Screen Keypad" - Enable this option to use a Full Screen Numeric Keypad, which can be used for Finger Entry or Stylus.
#8 "New Save & Cancel Buttons" - New 'Save & Cancel' buttons on the bottom Task Bar to make options saving easier!
#9 "Expanded Owner Info." - Additional Owner Info added to the 'About Screen', includes 'Name', 'Address', 'Phone#', & 'Email Address'.
#10 "Auto-Font-Shadow" - Font Shadow on the Main Screen Date & Time will Auto-Change depending on the Font Color Chosen!
#11 "Transparent Password Boxes" - The Password boxes on the password & options#1 screens are now Transparent for better background display.
#12 "PS-Logo Skinable" - PS Logo can now be replaced with an image, thumbnail pic, or eliminated.
#13 "Screen Layout Changes" - Text relocated, and room made at the bottom for a future 'Options'. Also, All New Default Skin!

The new update is excellent! The auto-shutdown timer is what I had been waiting for, but the LightMan artwork is a bonus!

Pocket Secure is Awesome! I like the option to lock out active sync, when the unit is locked.

Both the old and new versions are excellent.

Well, after a few days and a few PM's to the admin staff, I've gotten no replies about posting the official Pocket Secure release in the announcements forum!

So, for now, (thanks to dell_axim), most of the info has already been posted in this thread! And below, I've added some screenshots to give everyone a better picture of whats in the new v3.0.....

Just a quick update!

Pocket Secure v3.0 (FRENCH), is now posted on the website, and the (GERMAN) version is being packaged, and should be posted by tonight!

New skins for these language versions (including LightMan's PS_Silverado Skin), will also be available Free on the website in the next few days!
