I'm looking for a freeware utility that functions exactly like the alt-tab functionality in PocketPlus (and Windows in general) where I can push a button to pull up an icon list of currently running programs and select one. Does a freeware version exist?
I noticed that PHM PocketPC Plus might be able to do this, but the website of the author is down and I can't download the program to try it out. MortButtons also appears to potentially do the job, I just don't think I need all the additional functionality. I'm just looking for something free and small in size. Thanks.
Thanks! Ooh, that second link seemed promising (and only 15KB) but when I installed it it doesn't have the Today Screen as an option to always switch to, which would be ideal. I'll give the PHM Power Toys link a try tonight as I can't install anything but cabs from my work computer. Thanks again!
Taskswitch is great, which is what I use. Also note that if you have the Dell/Thinkoutside Bluetooth keyboard, Alt+Tab actually works on the keyboard too! I haven't figured out if this is a feature of the OS or the driver software, but it's not something you can pull off with the onscreen keyboard. Anyone running WM5 with the default HID and a Bluetooth keyboard want to check? ;)
Taskswitch works great. I have it set to replace my record button. Its real nice to be able to multitask on the axim. Plus it lets you know whats open and not "minimized" so, when used often, you know when to go into memory options and stop old programs. One thing nice about the program is that once you install the cab file, you can navigate and find the .exe file, and save it. Then you can just manually assosicate the file with the record button in the unlikely event you have to hardreset.
