What is the latest version of IE for PocketPC 2002 ?

if anyone knows the right version where can I download this version ?

I have not heard of a version newer than the one that's included with the Pocket PC 2002 OS.

For some programs is a higher ie version required.
So i thought that it may have been available.

You can do a registry hack to have some effect on this issue - look at the tutorial (about half way down the page). There will still be some sites that won't work (many financial websites, for example).

Also, if you haven't done the A03 ROM upgrade, it solves a problem with some websites not accepting PIE. (If you plan on doing both, you'll need to do the ROM upgrade first since it overwrites the registry).

Download teh ROM update from Dell Support...

PIE = Pocket Internet Explorer

Just keep in mind that even though the hack will fool a site into thinking you have a newer browser, PIE won't render much correctly anyway.

Ok but how can i connect to the internet via my cradle now ?

on my laptop i'm using a MS Proxy server is it possible to use it like that ?

On the connections settings, there is a place to add your proxy settings...
