PowerVR and PocketBreeze
I don't know if it's just me, but when i have pocketbreeze installed, all the textures of the PowerVR racer demo become all corrupted and it runs at ~2fps. The same thing happened with Chopper Fight + Intel 2700g drivers
I'm on the wm5 upgrade w/ x50v
I'm not 100% sure it IS Pocketbreeze, but i uninstalled the trial once, and the PowerVR Racer demo seemed fine again. Reinstalled, and the PowerVR demo = messed up textures and slow

Are you installing the latest PB version 5.0.12.2?

i think its a memory shortage type problem... try a soft reset before you play. or disable your today pluggins and close all progs before you play

it's not memory shortage...i've tried it after soft resets, and actually, this time after a hard reset...maybe it's something to do with today plugins in general. let me try disabling pb only through today items and see if it makes a diff.
edit: PowerVR Racer with PB enabled in today items - corrupted textures, laggy as heck
PowerVR Racer with PB disabled in today items - runs perfectly fine
i'll try the new version of PB when i get home

Hi Lat :)
Can you please try and change the grouping titles painting mode from "Highlight" to a different painting mode on all of PocketBreeze tabs, then soft reset the device and give this another try and see if this helps?
Please let me know if this helps :)

Hello Amit?
I'm probably having the same issue as these guys are (yes, the problem actually occurs with all 2700g enabled programs i've tried except for TCPMP):
http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7353
The "Highlight" setting changed didn't fix the problem...
Enabled PB Today item, soft reset -> 2700g demos/programs fail to load (or if they do, they have messed textures and/or freeze)
Disabled PB Today item, soft reset -> they work fine

Hi Lat :)
I'm really sorry for missing your reply till this point :/
I'm positive that this issue is related to the free memory that you currently have on the device. This is not related only to the 'free memory' that you can monitor on the device settings, but also to the free memory that is available for resources, that heavy graphic games like PowerVR racer require :/
What additional Today screen plugins are you running on your device, if any? Also, what additional third party applications to you have that are launched when the device starts? (like MagicButton, Wisbar Advance and so on..)

the only other things i have running on soft reset are magic button, and i guess you can say also the widcomm stack. otherwise, i'm pretty stock (no other today screens)
around 27mb free ram upon soft reset w/o pb, 25mb with.

If you disable widcomm stack and MB and try to soft reset the device, does this helps? Or only when you disable PB this helps to run PowerVR racer?

I removed the Widcomm stack and MB (both which are pretty essential to me), along with everything else in the startup (also had calligrapher, the wireless drivers, and spb backup's autorunner...must haves anyways)
PB is the only today screen item I have on.
Soft reset 1st run -> PVR runs, texture corruption with 3 fps...
Soft reset 2nd run -> same thing
Works fine without PB running...with all the startup items (which i need anyways)
Maybe PB is accessing something in memory which messes up the 2700g drivers? I dunno...everything else works fine.
