I use Adobe Reader 2.0 for Pocket PC on my X51v without any issues.
It gets a lot of use as I use it when referring to datahseets when out of the office.
In the week or so I've had it running under WM5 I've not had any problems.
I'm using Adobe Reader 2.0 on my Axim x51v with WM5. It works OK but text is blurry. I read about the MUI and setsecurity.exe fix. I understand that setsecurity.exe will disable the "install new program" prompt allowing the MUI file to install. Is this reversable? In other words, can I use setsecurity.exe to temporarly disable the prompt and then re-enable it after the MUI file is installed?

1. You'll always need to swithc off security when you want to run apps in forced VGA mode - it's not just an install.
2. There's not much point in keeping the "security" always on - it doesn't make your PDA safer at all. That is, just switch security off and don't worry anything.
I use Repligo instead. It converts PDF, Word, Excel, Project, HTML, etc. It's a non-editable file of course. But IMO, it is so much better than Adobe reader.

Just a note though. There has been virtually no support or updates in quite some time. This might be a dead product.
I have used Repligo on my X5 for several years and have always thought it was the best PDF reader. I recently got an X51v and wanted to install the latest version of Repligo. Looks like they are still at version 2.1. Not a good sign for continued product development.
To follow-up on Repligo development for anyone who is interested. I got this response from Repligo tech support when I asked about the seeming lack of further development for the product.
"We still support the PDA products of RepliGo, but are focused on developing our BlackBerry and wireless products at the moment."
Repligo is a great program. I'm using it alongside with Adobe Reader, Textmaker, Softmaker and Pocket Slide. The old version still works great with WM5.
The problem with it (in my case) is that the repligo pdf mobilizer is the only version that works on my os (xp64) and it doesn't convert all the files I give it to convert......it stops/freezes after converting about 11 or so.....:rolling:
This is an otherwise lovely little app.....but overpriced--they want $99 for the pdf mobiliser! .........so when the 14 day trial ends I'm prolly going to uninstall it!
Anyone know any other way of annotating or making notes on a .pdf doc on an x51v?
