You can not remove the WM5 bottom bar unless:
1-Use Lakeridgesoftware's Wisbar Desktop to completely change your Today look



2-You can also use Wisbar Advance and theme such this one to make it transparent as shown here!

I'll bump this as I've managed to get A12 properly installed (along with WIDCOMv.50) and I'd like to know if there have been any success stories!!

dont use VJToggleToday II alpha with wm5. there is a more compatible version called TodayToggleWM5. it works like a charm. set it where you want it and then add it as a startup service and your set. to get to the options you have to set a parameter ofm "-config" and that runs the settings.

i think this the finished version of the VJtoggle today and it is freeware. To see an early version of this and what it does to my today screen, se MyPDA. It is the very thin blue bar at the bottom. Used with NewMenu, I have a cascading menu for quick access to notes and tasks, as well as a clean looking screen. Both of these aps can be found at xda developers forum, in the developers/hacking sub forum. A google search should do the trick. Good luck.
