SplashID 3.4

SplashID 3.4 is out now with full WM5 support and and some minor bug fixes. Version 3.32 for the PPC (not PC) was free but 3.4 costs $29.95.

I was using the free promo version of SplashID 3.32 on my PPC and when I installed 3.4 over 3.32 (retaining the registry keys) I didn't have to enter a registration key. So 3.4 is still free for users who are using an older version.

SplashID v3.32 is still available for download on the site. :approve:

As always, you are the king of finding cool stuff. You must spend alot of time scouring the internet for software and we are all better off for your efforts. Kudos to you.

For those who don't know, Splash ID is a wallet program ala Flexwallet or eWallet.

3 things I really like about SplashID,

1. Simple but efficient interface
2. 256-bit blowfish encryption
3. its FREE! (unlike ewallet or flexwallet)

where is it best to install splash id? main, SD or BIS?

You can install it on your SD card. The encrypted SplashID database will still be created in main memory as a system database.

Is version 3.32 only FREE for the 30 day trial period? I downloaded and installed it, and now am being asked for a registration code. Without the code, the program will function for only 30 days.

Disregard. I just realized the PPC version is FREE, the desktop option to sync with PPC is only free for the 30 day trial period. Thanks for the great find! I had used this program with a Palm and it was a lifesaver in keeping all of my passwords straight.

Thanks for the heads up akheron. Maybe you could post the installation file for version 3.32 since the installation file on the website itself asks for registration code.

Really? I guess they have modified the installer then. You can get the free version from here.

I use RoboForm for my Axim and desktop so they're always synced. Roboform is also a form filler which is the primary reason I use it. Does Splash ID, FlexWallet or eWallet work on the desktop and fill forms?
