Activesync locking up or is it?

Hi there everyone

I'm trying to put some more organisation into my life and use my Axim as a PDA and not just a games console or a zapper for my TV.

Activesync, once synchronised with my pc seems to lock up my PDA. I've tried a hardware reset and a restore of a previous working backup but still seem to be having problems. The data transfer's ok but it's a pain to have to do a soft reset each time. Has anyone come across this?

When you say it locks up, you mean it does not respond to your 'tapping'?

Try installing one of the system status Today screen plug-ins such as Battery Pack. Then check to see if they get updated. They usually cycle between different status...

If your Axim does not respond to your tapping but the status gets updated... then it's the ActiveSync eating up your Axim's CPU cycle. This problem usually goes away if you disconnect Axim and wait 5 sec.

I have PocketMon on my Today screen. It's the Today screen plug-in that comes with Pocket Backup Plus. It has the CPU usage monitor and I noticed that it still shows high usage even after the synching is done.
