Forcing hi-res in Avantgo - Help

Ok, before everyone starts flaming...

*Yes, I have done searches
*Yes, I have read the other posts
and
*No, I haven't yet found the answer to this

So...

Would someone please tell me how to get the AvantGo.exe.0409.mui file to work with AvantGo?

I am using WM2003SE, and I can't get the text from overlapping after putting the .mui file in the Avantgo folder.

Someone please tell me how to fix this. All the other posts just have comments saying "Hey Avantgo works great now, Thanks for the tip" but no one ever says how they got the friggin thing to display!!!

Sorry, I'm just really frustrated..

Thanks in advance.

Hi.

Try using the "force VGA" function in Tweaks2k on the Avantgo executable.

I've been using for about 6 months and it works like a charm. Tweaks2k is worth it for a number of other reasons, as well.

Hi John,

Thanks, but I'm afraid trying Tweaks didn't help any. Please see the attached image.

I have T2K2, and the text overlaps just the same way as when copying the .mui file manually.

Any other suggestions?

Just a note for those of you having trouble with Avantgo.

I ran across some info that told me I needed the tgetfile and have it in my /Windows folder.

Now, Avantgo works great in VGA.

Note: I got my copy of the tgetfile from Tillanosoft at thist address: http://www.tillanosoft.com/ce/tgetfile.html

Let me know if this helps some of you.
