Yeah, the website says they are already working on PI 2007, with free upgrade to those that bought on or after April 1, 2006. Too bad, I got PI 2005 Rev 4 two weeks too early on March 17, 2006. I wonder if they will offer at least a generous discount for those wanting to upgrade to PI 2007 in the future.

Dunno. My records show I bought PI in August of 2005. Anyway, no reason to concern myself with the future in this context, until it becomes the present. I did download and install PI Rev 5, though!:approve:

You're absolutely right. I won't worry about it as PI 2005 Rev4 is more than enough for me so far and I'll just enjoy the product for what it is. I've already upgraded to Rev 5 without a hitch. Thanks for the heads up.
Anyway to answer my own questions, if and when PI 2005 users who purchased before April 1, 2006, it seems that WebIS offers a 50% discount as described on this page.

Thank God I bought it a week after April 1, then. :D I wonder if they've fixed the issue with it bringing itself up while Wisbar Advance is running...
I just installed Rev 5. The problem with PI and Wisbar Advanced is still partially there. Now PI doesn't come up when I click on the Starmenu, but still comes up when I click on Menu in the taskbar. weird....
I upgraded to PI 2005 rev 5 (build 368 and then 574) about a month and a half ago.
I'm running it on an X50V with Windows Mobile 2003 2E (Ver4.21).
I did have PI 2005 v2.1 which worked fine, but after upgrading I have a very frustrating problem:
When I turn on my X50 in the morning and start PI, my active day in Calendar view does not update automatically like it did in my previous version. It stays on yesterday for a while, even if I touch the "go to current day" icon. Sometimes it updates after a few minutes, but the other day it took a few hours.
I've contacted WebIS support twice, but their responses have been vague and more along the lines of "we haven't seen this before, and you are not worth the time for detailed help".
I've tried soft resetting, reloading the software twice, turning off "Make default PIM" and resetting, and then turning "make default PIM" back on. These usually cause the date to update right away if it has not already, but the next morning it is back to the same old problem.
My time and date on the X50V are current and correct (including AM/PM).
I've asked if I can go back to a previous version, but the reply only stated that they do not archive all prior releases.
Does anybody have any ideas to help me? I suspect that maybe the PI is not polling the X50's OS in a timely manner, but I'm not a software developer so I'm just grabbing at straws.
(By the way, no responses in the PI forum on the WebIS site, either.)
Thanks,
Bruce
