ie in portrate with fitaly, then change to landscape, does the ripboard adjust for wide mode, or do I have to select 'landscape ripboard' sip?
btw good work.

Well, Ripboard adjusts for landscape mode itself. Since the FITALY keyboard layout is 5 keys high, you will have to put up with a little squashing. My layout that includes the FITALY layout really just uses the landscape-optimized QWERTY layout in conjunction with the FITALY layout as was posted; I didn't edit that any. So, it is shorter and wider, but it looks squashed/stretched. My landscape QWERTY has square keys in landscape. Hope this answers your question.
And, thanks! Get a chance to use it yet? There are three versions, two versions of the Landscape QWERTY with FITALY as the alternate, one with standard portrait QWERTY layout as the alternate.
To switch between the two layouts, select the switcher button (darkest grey button). It says Jump in qwerty and qwerty in FITALY.
If you start in one mode and move to another (landscape or portrait), you will need to select another SIP then go back to Ripboard for it to come out right. One little quirk.
