That's what I tried, but didn't see the listbox arrow to select iLauncher. I had to switch to VGA to see it.

After I got it to work I realized I'd rather have iLauncher showing all the time, so I disabled it.

At least now I know how to do it.

Thanks!

Yeah, that's one major problem with cLaunch that drove me away - the background todayscreen image would be distorted behind cLaunch.

The thing is there are no notifications. It just changes the soft key to notification when I turn on the title bar battery meter. I've already posted it on the sbsh forums and the reply I got from SBSH was that it was a known bug for WM5.

Hi ktvyeow :)

I'll try to explain a bit more about the cause for this issue. To add the meter icon on the top tray bar of the PPC we are using the notification API that the OS provides that allows a software to add an icon on the tray top bar, in order to place the meter icon on the top bar.

With the new WM5 OS, MS added a new feature that changes the bottom tray left button to the "Notification" button each time that a notification icon is added on the top bar, and therefore, when we add the meter icon on the top bar this triggers the Notification button at the bottom tray button.

This issue never existed with older OS versions since MS only introduced this feature with the latest OS version.

This is an issue that we are aware of and working to overcome with future upcoming updates of course :)

Disabling the top bar meter will of course resolve this and you can still continue using the regular meters on the Today screen, bottom tray bar and the top indicator meter line.

I want to mention that the meter causing this issue that you are referring too is not the top indicator bar that can be added at the top of the screen, as can be see in the following screenshot top of the screen:

but the meter icon that can be added on the top bar like the one that can be seed in this screenshot (the small round meter with the charging icon in this case) :)

I hope this information helps a bit to understand the cuase for this issue and how you can disable this issue in the meanwhile :)

I use icon names so in that respect, cLaunch surpasses iLaunch, but iLaunch is catching up slowly. In cLaunch you can specify specify veritcal and horizontal size for the icon names on a per-tab basis. iLaunch, which just came out with icon name support, lets you also specify vertical size and in the most recent update, also horizontal size, but the settings are global. In general, cLaucnch gives you more exact control over the layout dimensions while iLaunch leaves some aspects more automatic.

But cLaunch doesn't support VGA so it looks pretty bad pixel-doubled. It also doesn't like being VGA-forced. iLaunch is wonderfully beautiful in VGA if you pick the right VGA icons from the iLaunch forums.

I have tried iLaunch and was using cLaunch,
I ran out the trial of iLaunch, so I am back to cLaunch;
I keep going back and forth, and think I do want iLaunch, I'm looking at some other things right now, so I might get iLaunch later in the summer.
iLaunch is a great utility.
Amit at SBSH does a great job of support here and at the SBSH forums. That is worth the price.
