Can cLaunch Display a Power Button?

I've been using cLaunch for over a year now on my X50v with wm 2003. I have loved it.

Last Friday, the Power button on my Axim quit working: it won't turn the Axim on or off. I've set the Ax so it will turn on when I push a program button, which solves half the problem, but to turn it off, I need to either wait for it to automatically sleep after 3 minutes, or I need to remove the Ax from its' Sena Case and open the battery lock, which turns it off, which is a bit of a hassle. I'm guessing that something in the power button has come out of alignment and isn't getting pushed when the power button is pushed, but I don't dare open the Ax up to explore.

So, now for my question: Does anybody know how to put an off button on cLaunch? I used to use another program on my iPaq that displayed a red button that was called a "soft power button". If you tapped on it, the unit would power off (or at least suspend, or sleep or whatever you call it - the screen would go dark.) That old program causes all kinds of problems on the Axim, so I can't use it to solve this problem.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks!

Don't know about cLaunch, but TodayWarrior (freeware) can place an on/off button (and also reset, screen brightness slider, etc.) on the today screen and works well on my Axim x50v.

I appreciate your help, but my Axim isn't letting me load anything on it right now. I guess there's more wrong than just the power button.

Oh, well, I guess I'll have to just keep opening the battery latch to turn it off.

Thanks!
