Aximsitemobileicon Pocket Pc DOS Mode WM5?

I know regular computers have dos mode. Is there a way you can have one on the pocket pc running Windows Mobile 5? That's free and works

There isnt much point to use DOS, unless you want to undelete files.

I doubt there is a DOS version for WM5

No, there's no DOS mode for WM. What you see is what you get.

If you mean dos mode as in some sort of safe-mode with no pocketpc shell loaded, then no... besides, how would you type without the popup keyboard.

If you mean a dos-like command shell to type commands since you prefer that over clicking and dragging, then look at this: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...c.php?p=343097

If you want to run real DOS programs, then try this: http://www.pocketwall.com/pDOSBox/

If you just want to run scripts, then try this: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...c.php?p=356534

Everything mentioned here should be free.

PocketDOS is also a good option.

The one I was thinking of was PocketConsole which is available here: http://www.symbolictools.de/public/p...sole/index.htm

Guys and gals, don’t forget to check out my brand new, MS-DOS / x86 emulation-related article at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=153194

(Sorry for flooding – IMHO, this article certainly deserves attention because it answers ALL the questions a Windows Mobile user may want to EVER ask about emulating MS-DOS. Make sure you read it!)
