I recently purchased a dell axim x3, windows mobile 2003. It has integrated WiFi, and i'm able to access my home wireless internet and other networks without problems.

I downloaded another IM program (IM+) and i can connect to MSN messenger using that program, but it's a trial version, so i'd like to get msn messenger working. The error i get when i try to sign in on msn messenger is:

"logon to msn messenger service failed because the service is not responding"

Any suggestions?

I have gotten that error whenever my date and time settings were incorrect. Double check those. Also, try a soft reset.

ok, problem fixed, i had to download the update for msn messenger, then a soft reset and all was good.
