I am having trouble trying to run Bagoj's Japanese IME along with my Today plug-ins, on my x50v with Win2003SE.

In a nutshell, I cannot get the IME to display the Character Autocomplete or the Multibox. I want to run 3 items on my Today screen: SPB Diary, SPB Weather, and Resco Explorer plug-in. It seems like it is these items, that are causing the conflict, since if I disable one of them, then I can use the IME properly. However these 3 already represent the minimum Today screen apps that I need (I also wanted to use SPB Pocket Plus, as I used to, but sacrificed it for the IME).

There seems to be several opinions/comments that this type of problem is caused by lack of memory, but this would seem not to be true. Without all 3 Today plug-ins, I have gotten the IME to run in as little as 15MB free, and with them, it still fails with more than 22MB free. In any case, the device is running with as much free main memory as possible, frankly, since I have EVERYTHING now, even the Today plug-ins (which I am not really supposed to), running off SD or BIS. So I don't see how it's possible to have any more main memory freed.

It has really been driving me crazy since I NEED all of these items - the IME and the Today plug-ins. Has anyone else gotten them to co-exist properly? Any other suggestions that they can offer? Any help would be much appreciated...

It's all to do with processes. My advice?
Have less plugins or...
Disable them, and you should be able to get the SIPs working...
Then put the plugins back on - they should both work...
Though you won't have many processes left.
