e-sword on X5?

Has anyone had any luck getting e-sword to work on an X5, without installing it in Main Memory?

I've had it working before on a SD card but then it crashed and I had to unistall it. I then got it to work from BIS but then had a hard reset and have not been able to get it to work from any location since.

I don't have enough free memory to install to Main, but would really like to be able to use e-sword again. When I contacted Rick Meyers the response was, "e-sword must be installed into main memory". If this is the only way to get e-sword to work reliably, then I guess that I will have to go with something else.

I've installed E-Sword a couple of times, (due to hard resets) and always put it in Main Memory. The Bibles get put on my SD card. It works for me.
I've never tried to put the whole thing on a card before.
