I'm looking for an .exe file that will perform a 'softreset' WITHOUT asking.

well, if you have the Embedded visual basic runtimes installed, you can use this i just whipped up, just for you...

SoftRebootNA.zip

unzip it (it's a .vb file) copy it to your \windows\start menu\programs directory, and anytime you click it, bam! soft reset without asking you if you want to.

I've renamed the program and made a copy to
\2577\autorun.exe
on my SD memory card

In this way my ax gets locked and my ID shows up whenever somebody 'mingles' with my SD.

It happened once ....

Not perfect security - but it helps ...
