I have tried several mindmapping programs and have been disappointed in all of them. The biggest problem is not the software but the small screen of the Axim. Mindmapping is a real cool idea on a tablet that works well with the larger real estate. I found, at least for my purposes, that the Axim is just too small for the idea to work effectively. I find it just as easy to draw with the built in Notes program and I get much the same effect with no additional cost.

So my suggestion is to try Notes before you spend the additional $$$
