desktop format

x51v newbie here...
I'm looking for a download that creates a "windows desktop" format where I can have several job files on my screen that when opened could have files, ie. excel, word, notes, tasks, etc. specific to that job. even a choice for personal screen and business screen.

I'm unclear as to what you're saying. Can you give some examples? Welcome to Aximsite.

Thank you,
I was looking to create a "windows desktop"based format with icons or folders of my choice on it. I am in the construction management field and I would like to put my job files on the screen, or at least a project folder which links to a menu listing the jobs. We deal a lot with fire recovery and with insurance companies, so I would benifit from such a scenario, including the storage of pictures of the damage into their respective job files as well. I've created my own excel worksheets so far, but I will be looking into a good construction management setup for my x51v.

Thanks

Grimm

Look into launcher utilities. Ecks provided a good one with SPB Pocket Plus, which can link to folders I believe. Others include tdlaunch, claunch and ilauncher. All of these are Today plugins that provide direct links to programs/files/folders from your Today screen (desktop).

Moved to Utilities.

You want this program that i mentioned a while ago. Its free and gives a windows desktop experience. You can put specific word docs right on the today (desktop) screen. You just copy and paste stuff there. Just like on a desktop.
