I haven't tried Sunrise but I believe that is the idea of the program. Try it and let us know. There are also other RSS aggregators on the list such as pRSSreader that are more well known around here.

Thanks. I don't know exactly how long it took to actually put the post together as it was a work in progress over time accumulating the info. It did take a while and it was probably more than a few hours.

pchobbyist: Use sunrise to convert web resources to PDB. The you need to use VadeMecum (also in the list) to read the .pdb files from your handheld. I have a directory on my SD card and use MobSync (also in the list) to automatically move the files created by Sunrise on my desktop to the Axim when syncing. Works great!

Some of the programs on the list have had recent version updates: HandyShopper, Minimo and QMAIL.

Icon14 Great Job! Great List!

Wow! :nw: You have compiled one grade-A list of freeware my friend!

I only use freeware whenever possible, and most of my picks are on your list, but you've also got some that i intend to check out ASAP!

Great work! :approve:

I really appreciate you spending so much time posting this on the board. Very very nice!

I am very interested in those free games, especially PacMan and Chess 2.0. Have you tried them on x51v? Do you have any issues?

Thanks

I am not sure why you did not put the game "Hell Chess" on this list. It is easier to use than Chess 2.0 and I like the leveling system better. It's major drawback is that you can't save games or switch the board. But it's freeware, I think.

No problem, glad you liked the post. I've tried both PacMan and Chess 2.0 with my X51v and have had no major issues with either.

I based the list on freeware that received a 7 or better rating from pocketpcfreeware.com and were released in the last couple of years. In certain instances, I might have included programs that scored less than 7 if they were unique in what they do or if I happened to read a lot of positive comments on it. I've not tried all the programs on the list myself. Hell Chess happened to receive a 5 rating and was not as highly rated as other chess games like Chess 2.0 or Pocketcrafty, so maybe that is why I did not include it.

OK. Anyway, I too wanted to thank you for your hardwork. There are several of these programs I didn't know about and I will try.
