I've added dogfood's RegTweak program to the list due to request from aximsite.com members and the positive comments users have posted regarding the program. I've also added the RSS news aggregator, FeederReader, to the list as it is a two time (2005 & 2006) Pocket PC Mag Best Software Nominee. I have also added the X50 Mix utility to the list due to its popularity here.

Ahh your welcome, hmmm stickie ? no wonder i needed to wash after reading it...
Is there a reason Crosswords (aka xwords) wasn't included here? It's a nice free Scrabble clone. http://xwords.sourceforge.net/
Well, as I stated in the beginning post, I started this thread based on programs that were released within the last year and a half and rated 7 or better on pocketpcfreeware.com. I know that these ratings are somewhat subjective and they don't seem to update their ratings much despite newer versions coming out, but it was what I used as a guide. This particular program received a 6/10 rating. If enough people give very good reviews on it, then I'll add it to the first post. Anyway, its part of the thread now with your link. :)
Edit: I've added both ScrabblCE v1.0.315.1 and Crosswords (xwords) v4.1 to the list under Games-Puzzles as they are both free unique games that don't really have better alternatives.

OIC. I revisit this thread every now and then when I'm looking for something new to try, so I forgot the preamble. Anyway, thanks for adding the scrabble games, and also for maintaining this great list!
PS: Crosswords looks great on VGA which is more than I can say for the commercial Handmark Scrabble.

Thanks, I'm glad you find the list useful. I'll definitely give Crosswords a try myself.
Of all of the games that I have loaded on my X51v, Crosswords is the one I find myself using the most.
The dictionaries come in several styles and difficulties, and the "Robot" player can be hard to beat.
If you haven't played it, give it a try, but be warned, it can be addicting!
And I agree, Handmark's Scrabble on the VGA screen looks horrible, not worth the time or money until they update it to support higher resolution devices.
Several programs have been updated with new versions so far this month:
GS Player v2.25, Playlist Editor v1.7 and Metro v5.4.3 and FeederReader v0.63
Several programs (some of them new, some of them older) were added to the list this month and include:
Open Jazz port for the Pocket PC, SrabblCE, Crosswords (xwords), and Virtual Earth Mobile.
Enjoy!
