Well, technically it IS the same thing - stealing, since you're trying to get out of buying the product... and they were nice enough to leave everyone with an uncrippled beta, subject only to date. Given that most of us use our PDAs in situations which require an accurate date (keeping track of appointments, secure site logins).. well, $24 is $24, and barely a spit in the ocean. Otherwise, I could very easily claim that it's not stealing if I break into someone's house, just because the locks aren't foolproof, and there are ways to get around them.
Either way, it's still against the rules here to talk about how to pirate software... especially when it's in a forum the developer may be reading.
Anyway seeing as opera has the long page bug on the X50v, but is quicker than netfront.
Which would you buy? I'm having a tough time deciding

If NF weren't buggy (see my latest bug reports also posted here on AximSite - the WM2003SE driver memory bug, the Flash CPU usage bug etc.) OR the Access people did fix the bugs reported to them (I've reported the - very easy to fix - DST bug to them a year ago; still, they haven't even tried to fix it), I'd also consider NF.
Currently, NF is a no-go for me. Opera Mobile renders almost everything OK on non-x50v PDA's. If it isn't able to render something (Flash, Java applet), I just turn to PIE with CrEme and the free Macromedia / Adobe Flash plug-in. The latter is MUCH better than the Flash support in NF.
That's the biggest thing that's stopping me. Even so, with a mixture of zooming, display settings & pie, I can work around it.
NF is to buggy, minimo just isn't ready (big + slow) and I don't want a monthly subscription
Pie-plus would be the outside choice, but VGA browsing is too much for me to give up.

Ahem, if the product is limited to 45 days of being used, then the date on your pocket pc doesn't matter. you are using it after the deadline, which is illegal.
I find it difficult to believe that you don't use your axim for any other purpose than stealing software from developers that have worked hard to produce it.
