Hi... a tech was working on my Axim and deleted that utility that comes with theAxim and appears at the top of the screen, useful to switch between programs, close them, check battery status, etc... what its the name of it? I want to download and install it again...

It is "switcher bar", its built into the ROM so you cant delete it.. you need to go under start, settings, system to find it. .. and if 'somehow' its gone probably the only way to get it back is through a hard reset.

Are you talking about the "Switcher Bar" program? The Icon kinda looks like two arrows pointing in opposites directions in sorta of a square shape? (going from memory on what it looks like. :) )

If that's the one you're talking about There are many other programs like it. Some free, some not. I use vBar myself. Pretty much does the same thing (ie. lets you switch between open programs and lets you shut down specific ones or all of them at one time) but it's icon has a battery indicator on it too. Plus it's free.

Both, in my opinion, are better than the "Switcher Bar" that came preloaded. Check it out and you can decide.

I downloaded PHM Task Manager and seem nice to me...

You´re rigth Zaniax ... its there... now, how do I make it show at settings?

In file explorer, tap + select copy. Then browse to Windows\Start Menu\Settings and Tap + select "paste as shortcut". Then feel free to rename it as necessary.

And you may put the link into the \windows\StartUp folder - then you will have the switcher running on power-on.
Think that a soft reset may be necessary ...

Well, I soft reseted de Axim, the Switcher Bar its back now... :rolling:

Well ... that's the way to go ...

Now that everything is up running you may take the opportunity to fill out some data about yourself - that's an interesting part of the AximSite.
The info may also be helpful when suggesting solutions to reported problems - eg type of PDA in use.

... and sometimes we are also curious :)
