Mobipocket 5.2

Just came out; supports RSS feeds now.

Yeah, but I liked the old eNews component and that has been dropped.

Now I can't go back to 5.1 because I keep getting a "reader.exe has encounered a problem" error on my desktop and it keeps wanting to close the app on my desktop.

Big Smile Latest thing

There is this new function under programs called data backup. If you use it, you can actually get back to square 1 when a software install goes south.

Mobile5 -- We're just as stable as Win95!

Frebitz- I take this as a tongue in cheek reference to a simple data backup on my axim. While i appreciate good humor, this is not related to my current issue. besides a data backup cannot help with an app install going south. it only keeps your data safe during the process... Apparently the uninstall on the Desktop on 5.2 is insufficient. Therefore a reinstall of the older version is failing. The PPC app seems to be just fine, except it continues to report itself as v.5.2.

I am continuing to work on it myself, but if anyone has a helpful suggestion, I am listening.

I too liked the eNews component better; might try Newsbreak or something like it. I'm not too fond of their RSS feeds so far. Maybe I just need to play with it some more.
